Much like most of its members, Shū was taken in by the Port Mafia at a young age
At just 14 he was put under Dazai's instruction alongside Akutagawa
Their experiences with him vary slightly as he was later taken on by Chuuya
In the time spent working on his ability as well as his other combat skills and agility he formed few bonds between he and some of the other members
Chuuya is by far his closest colleague, closely followed by the Akutagawa siblings and TachiharaFollowing Dazai's defection from the Port Mafia 3 years later; Mori took on Shū as his next promising young executive at 17
Shū has remained loyal and obedient to him but has (in recent years) begun questioning the Boss' behavior and morals

Relationships

Shū's relationship with his former mentor and colleague is a bit of a rocky one
He saw Dazai as an older brother figure while in the Mafia and knows how smart he can be
While he holds no real ill will towards him he's still cautious of the former Executive due to his position in the Armed Detective AgencyChuuya
Chuuya is by far one of his closest colleagues
His manners and taste in expensive things can be attributed to the 4 1/2 years he has spent working under him
Though they are nowhere near the level Double Black was, they are still extremely proficient and get things done in a timely fashionAkutagawa
Shū is aware of the trouble Akutagawa faced while working under Dazai, particularly the abuse and neglect in which he grew up with in the Port Mafia
Once fwb and now boyfriends, they support each other and find that their positions do not stand in the way of their relationship
Both care for and are equally protective of their boyfriend Atsushi and spend as much time as possible with him when they canAtsushi
Though at odds at first the two got over the struggle of being on opposing sides and eventually developed a mutual affection for one another alongside Akutagawa
Shū views him as a good asset to the Armed Detective Agency and recognizes him as a very capable individual inside and outside of work
